When we designed the Prometheus we knew we were just getting started on our journey to find the perfect tone:
We tried literally hundreds of different speakers and while it sounded great with most of them we also knew we wanted to offer our own unique take on what a guitar speaker should sound like!
Through our friends from Hiwatt we got in touch with legendary UK speaker manufacturer Fane Acoustics who were not only up to the task but embarked on this journey together with us. We talked about what we’re looking for in a speaker and they delivered the perfect match for our Prometheus: the LCFR-150!
With it's big, yet very stable low end that extends all the way down to 55hz in the right cabinet and a resonance peak at 65hz that will turn your palm mutes into hammer blows that will rival Hephaistos himself this speaker is perfect for low tuned guitars: modern or vintage, Djent or Doom - this speaker is sure to shake the walls of every venue, studio and rehearsal room alike. A power rating of 150W will make sure you have plenty of headroom in smaller cabinets as well!
We opted for a cone and dust cap design without doping creating a unique tone brings shimmering highs to your sound without ever getting ear piercing. You’ll find huge advantages in this design as well with clean guitars: shimmering highs that evoke the illusion of having an acoustic 12-string playing along with you!
The LCFR-150 is not a recreation of one of the tried and true standards of modern music but a bold attempt to conquer its own place in the speaker world: deep low end, a complex mid-voicing with lots of growl and the unique highs that Fane speakers are famous for!
We’re beyond proud of this and can’t wait to release the LCFR-150 in August ‘24!

Nail my torn flesh to the cross.
Thrust a spear deep in my side.
I carried my cross long enough.
I wear my love like a crown of thorns.
The Thorn is our collaboration with post-metal powerhouse Amenra - an attempt to distill the unmistakable voice of Lennart Bossu into a form that can live on any stage, in any rig, anywhere in the world.
A bit of history: for years, Lennart’s sound has been defined by an old and rare Providence Stampede SDT-1 - discovered through recordings from Kurt Ballou’s God City Studios (famed for its use on Converge records and beyond). That one battered unit became his weapon of choice across Oathbreaker, Amenra, Predatory Void and Living Gate, shaping not only his voice but an entire Belgian scene orbiting around Amenra and its members.
The original SDT-1 has a singular, organic roar - but also some inconvenient baggage: a massive enclosure, direct wall-voltage power, a fixed boost, and a few other quirks. Later Providence revisions solved some of those problems, but at the expense of its unique sonic fingerprint.
So we set out to reverse-engineer Lennart’s exact unit and reimagine it for the modern stage. The result: a faithful recreation with a few critical evolutions. We added a 1 kHz mid control for surgical presence-shaping. We made the footswitchable boost adjustable. We kept the soul of his exact unit in the SDT-1 mode, but added an SDT-2 mode for the more compressed, saturated tones Lennart leans on in Living Gate. And, true to our nature, we couldn’t resist adding a third, proprietary voicing - laerm - more open, louder, and more direct than any Stampede ever was.
We kept the EQ bypass that was present on the original unit but got lost in later revisions: lifting the tone stack completely from the circuit for an even more immediate connection between guitar and amp. In Lennart’s own setup, the Thorn feeds straight into an Ampeg V4 with EQ bypassed, turning it into an extension of the amp’s own voice rather than an overlay.
With the Thorn, you hold not only the sound of Amenra, Oathbreaker and countless others but a distortion that stands on its own: direct, transparent, and articulate, yet massive and organic. It’s a voice you won’t find anywhere else.

This is Era Borealis… this is Death Über Alles.
The Death Über Alles is the result of our collaboration with professional troublemaker Hanno Klänhardt from Mantar. A sonic sledgehammer forged to make their unapologetic sound available for YOU. Mantar are known to deliver walls of sound you’d never have deemed possible from a duo: filthy sludge, wild punk rock and fierce black metal parts make up their sonic identity.
The Death Über Alles distills all of these influences in one handy little box: a raunchy overdrive/distortion side that works equally well into a crunchy Marshall as it does in front of a clean pedal platform amp and a pre-gain boost with parametric mids that let’s you cut through any mix - we aptly called this one “death”. Did we mention it works equally well with bass?
Valhalla hammering
While we tried to keep the pedal as simple as possible we also wanted to add all the versatility a modern device like this needs: besides the ubiquitous gain & level controls we opted for a stripped down 2-band EQ: need a mid focused sound? Just roll back both and the mids will pop out at a very musical frequency! The death-button adds an adjustable boost with up to 16dB and parametric mids that add all the versatility you could ever need. Of course we added our tried and proven noise gate to the circuit to keep the noise floor under control no matter the setup!
Face of Torture
The enclosure features a laser etched design of the line “Daeth Über Alles” from Mantars hit single Era Borealis: blunt, unapologetic and straight in your f*cking face. Just like Mantar, just like this pedal.
Features:
Lichtlaerm Audio Smart Relay technology
2- Band baxandall-style EQ
gain & level controls
boost with up to 16dB output
parametric mids for the boost section
fully built in Key & Gate
9V center-negative power supply (80mA)

PandorA is here — and it's ready to unleash your tone, anywhere.
Designed as the ultimate utility for modern, portable rigs, PandorA is a no-fuss, all-function 60-watt power amplifier with a secret weapon: it feels like an amp.
Unlike typical solid-state solutions tailored for modelers, PandorA is built to amplify analog. Whether you’re running a preamp pedal, drive, or just an EQ, it responds like a real amp — thanks to a built-in analog impedance curve approximation and a true negative feedback loop with Presence and Depth controls that behave just like a tube power section.
Plug. Play. Push Air.
60W of clean power, capable of keeping up with a drummer.
Built around the TPA3118 chip, known for its efficiency and power — paired with custom buffering and preamplification circuitry to maximize your tone and volume.
Plug straight into any 8Ω cab, no load box, no modeling needed — this is the smallest full live rig you’ve ever seen.
Even with your guitar plugged straight in, PandorA sounds alive — dynamic, bold, and shockingly tube-like for a class-D core.
Power Without Fuss
PandorA doesn't care what you feed it. Its onboard rectifier and power filtering circuitry means it accepts:

Let the fires burn as a signal!
The Gehenna is our take on a highly flexible metal distortion:
from classic NWOBHM to early 2000s Core-music, from raw Black and Death Metal to super tight and modern Djent - it’s all in there!
Featuring our proprietary cut-control that allows you to dial in different gain structures, saturation types and adjust the frequency response to the tuning of your guitar: from super tight and controlled to roaring and huge vintage sounds!
The Gehenna boasts one of the most expansive yet easy to use EQ-sections you’ll find in any pedal: An active dual-band mids control allows for tailoring of both high- and low-mids separately while active treble and bass controls and a set of passive presence & depth controls really set this thing apart from other distortion/preamp pedals and allow for immense tone-sculpting capabilities.
The mix of passive and active controls give you sounds that range from classic amp-like distortion to filthy sounding tones you never heard before!
Instead of adding a separate boost in front of the distortion section we added a second, footswitchable gain-control that let’s you switch between two levels of gain inside the insane spectrum that the Gehenna offers: the on-state of Gain I is indicated through the blue LED.
Another unique feature is the level control itself: while a lot of solid-state based devices tend to sound harsh and fizzy when you increase the volume the Gehenna has a unique active output stage that hold the sound together by attenuating harsh frequencies while bringing out the musical mids at high level settings: very much like a tube-amp.
The Gehenna was designed to be used as a distortion pedal in front of a clean amp but also lends itself for use as a preamp due to it’s immense output level and flexible EQ - you may want to use extreme settings especially on the presence & treble controls for this, tho!

The Medusa is the successor of the probably most infamous pedal we created during Lichtlaerms first life: the Breathe//Die. As a collaboration with local Berlin band “Breathe//Die” it was the first HM2-style pedal to feature a noise reduction circuit, boost and an extended feature set in a compact enclosure. These sold out within days and subsequently went on the used market for up to 600USD!
As it’s been one of the most requested pedals for us to bring back to life we decided to not just re-launch but redesign the circuit to give you even more flexibility and the most cohesive package on the market!
We took the first design and moved the boost into the core circuit resulting in up to three times the gain the classic chainsaw pedal offers you while also allowing you in to use our well-known cut control to shape the low end and create punchy palm mutes that the original was never capable of.
We also increased the output immensely because… well: why not?
With great power comes great responsibility: meaning with all the gain and high output volume you can’t avoid a certain level of noise. That’s why we added a full version of our Key & Gate into the circuit: being triggered from the input like you’d to with modern noise gates and placed behind the loop so anything you blend with the Medusa profits from the gate as well. Loop? Yes! Like our King in Yellow we decided to add a parallel fx-loop to Medusa that allows you to blend her gnarly distortion with any other device: distortion, boost, overdrive or even the preamp of your favorite tube amp - or just leave the loop empty and use it as a clean blend. Of course you can invert the phase of the loop to avoid phase cancellations or create interesting out-of-phase sounds.
We decided to keep the traditional HM2 EQ bands named low & grind to give you easy access to the well known grindy sounds we all love but added a parallel mids control (200-700hz) and a shelving high filter to add or tame presence. Due to this Presence control the Medusa also lends itself perfectly to being used as a preamp!
Last but not least we decided to throw in another switchable gain section: more modern, louder, more mid focused. So now you can decide between the filthy distortion of the black/orange box made famous in Sweden or a modern in-your-face kind of saturation that still has access to the infamous EQ of the HM2.
Of course as always: we put all these features in the same compact box and put an amazing artwork made of real gold by the outstanding Kasia Jasmina on it!
Get yours today and start tearing down walls and melting faces!

Shortly after launching our initial line of pedals we started asking which pedal people would like to see the Lichtlaerm take on:
The results were overwhelmingly unambiguous: an Overdrive based on the classic green box that we all know and love.
At the same time we started discussing doing a collab of the “Heave Metal Amps & Pedals” group on facebook: after discussing features the amazing Asia Sansalone provided the artwork for this one and it turned out just glorious!
As always we tried to honor the original circuit and leave the core sound intact while offering something new that you won’t find on any similar pedal!
Enter: The King in Yellow!
With a saturation and frequency response clearly based on TS-style overdrives we added our revered active 4-band EQ - as always voiced to perfectly suit the pedal!
As we usually do we also added a charge pump to increase the operating voltage to 36V internally ensuring immense headroom, three times the output volume and a clear operation of the EQ while simultaneously keeping the noise floor low.
In addition to the classic symmetric clipping we added an asymmetric setting as well as LED clipping for more dynamic range - all available at the flick of a switch.
The real standout feature of the King in Yellow is its parallel loop, tho: create unique overdrive tones by blending the Yellow King with anything in the loop! A perfect mix of Klon-style transparency and the cutting mids of a TS? No problem! A Blues Breaker style breakup-tone with just a hint of SRV? Sure! Blending a modern metal boost with the tried and proven screamer as a boost? Pushing your amp into sonic mayhem by blending the Yellow King with an HM2? Bring it on!
Even a delay or modulation in the loop will create interesting textures as the loop signal will stay clean and be mixed with the saturated part later on.
You may even use it as a splitter for stereo setups with the polarity switch ensuring correct phase of both signals no matter if you decide to mix it back in or run the outs into separate amps!
If you decide to leave the loop unconnected it will turn into a clean blend to be mixed with our OD-signal. The mixing will always happen after the EQ but before the master volume to allow for clean boost operation as well!
Features:
Lichtlaerm Audio Smart Relay technology
TS-style overdrive
symmetrical, asymmetrical or LED clipping
extremely high output
4-band EQ with up to 16dB cut/boost per band, non-interactive, constant-Q
low noise, high headroom (27V internally created)
parallel fx-loop with polarity switch

Using the "Altar MKIII" on Bass. The Fuzz-Character is reminiscent to the old Black Russian Big Muffs while the Altar contains way more low end and more gain reserves. The Active EQ and the additional Boost make this Pedal extremely versatile. This is definitely the best Sounding Fuzz I've ever used on Bass. Layout and Builtquality are superb, as well as the Contact..
